Ceremony Music Suggestions (Traditional)

Posted by on Jul 23, 2013 in BLOG, Redford News | 0 comments

As a company, the Redford DJs perform at about 60 weddings a year. Over the last two years we have seen a significant increase in events that call for our services for both reception and ceremony as well. Many venues allow for this and many guests thoroughly enjoy the limited travel in and around Pittsburgh. While a great many still enjoy and prefer the church ceremony, a trend is emerging. It’s our pleasure to be a part of many receptions, and to be a part of the ceremony as well, is a special privilege.

For your benefit, here are some great songs for your DJ to play at your ceremony. These are traditional songs, working on a similar post for non-traditional song choices.

Songs for Mothers Lighting Candles

‘Hymne’

‘Falling in Love’

‘air on g string’

Songs for Bridesmaids,Groomsmen Entrance

‘reminiscent joy’

‘watchet auf’

‘Ave Maria’

Songs for Bride Entrance

‘Jesu, Joy of Mans Desiring’

‘canon in d’

‘here comes the bride’

Recessional songs (after kiss)

‘rondeau’

‘ode to joy’

‘finale (from water music)

OR if you prefer some local singers, look no further than our own DJ ANDY and his wife April.
